Off With Her Head – Icon For Hire

Icon For Hire was formed back in 2007 and currently features the famous female vocalist Ariel Bloomer and guitarist Shawn Jump, they are a very experienced but relatively unknown band in the country, and most of the tunes they make are extremely catchy and melodic, with vocalist Ariel leading the way.
The song starts off with a very metallic sound, then softens up a bit as Ariel's vocals come in, complementing her vocals and transitioning excellently. It then climbs upwards quickly and goes straight into the chorus. The composite metal tones coupled with Ariel's vocals are addictive. After repeating this, the song goes into a breakdown, with a very rhythmic bass and drums, a great BKD to shake your head to, and then again into the chorus to close out the song.
The song is fast paced and progressive, but it's comfortable to listen to and is a masterpiece.
